Whether helping a brick-and-motar health organization digitally transform how they delivery care, or launching the world first ever digital fashion marketplace, our teams believes good strategies are always research-based, focused, imbued with clarity, and actionable.

In delivering a good plan, strategists find ingenious ways to gain insights, turn business objectives into project priorities, and make recommendations that directly inform the work of our Design, Technology and Product teams.

As our Strategist, you will...

  • Participate in intake conversations and immersion activities with clients to gain a deep understanding of their businesses, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with our Strategy Director, to articulate the strategic approach for projects which outlines: knowledge to be uncovered, direction and priorities, validation tactics, KPIs, and "measure-learn-optimization" frameworks.
  • Plan and conduct quantitative and qualitative research to gather knowledge about our clients’ industries, competition, culture, and consumers.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations in an actionable manner via deliverables such as customer journeys, service blueprints, information architecture, priority guides, visual identity design briefs, communication plans, etc.
  • Proactively conduct non-client related research projects and write thought pieces that inform our clients and our team members on the state of culture, brand, business, and technology.
  • Have Fridays as your personal development day to carry out study and projects to improve your and the team's strategic practices.

Qualifications that we are looking for...

  • 2+ years of experience developing Brand Identity Strategy AND, OR, Digital Experience Strategy in an agency, startup, in-house, or consulting setting.
  • An analytical mindset and a growing set of tools to help you navigate the unknown. When given a challenge, you can deconstruct it into underlying questions and apply your tools of research and validation to find answers.
  • An actionable view of strategy. Your deliverables aren't only aspirational but also measurable. You know how to quantify and convey values in KPIs and metrics.
  • A persuasive and effective communication style. You can be a storyteller when necessary, but more often, you speak and write jargon-free. Your briefs inspire your teams, and your presentations build confidence in your clients.
